Seminars & events 

ECIS organizes many recurring seminars as well as special workshops & conferences. Seminars will generally take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Check specific events in the calender list below for exact dates. You can switch between month, week, day and table views.

  • ECIS seminars
    The ECIS seminars are a monthly series of lectures by distinguished, external scholars, targeted at a general audience (1st week of each month).

  • TI&S seminars
    The Technology, Innovation & Society (TI&S) seminars are a bimonthly series of lectures by internal as well as external scholars. This series is organized by the three research programs on system innovations, technology flows and modern societies in transition (2nd and 3rd Thursday of each month).

  • P&E Research seminars
    Organized by the research program Philosoply of Technology (on Tuesdays).

  • Economics Research seminars
    Organized by the research program on Technology Flows, Knowledge Economy and Economic Performance (last Thursday of each month).

  • History Research seminars
    Organized by the research program on Modern Societies in Transition.
      

 

  • Special events
    These include (but are not limited to) academic conferences, dissemination events, and (multi-day) workshops organized around specific themes, and are generally targeted at the whole ECIS community as well as interested parties outside ECIS.
